| PHOTOGRAPHY - TRAVEL CHINA - Hong Kong Aberdeen Harbor Aberdeen Harbor was created to provide safer harborage to the multitude of smaller fishing vessels from the rough, and sometimes disastrous, seas during monsoons. The stories are true that these small boats serve not only as working fishing vessels but also as the homes of the fishermen and their families. It is also true that some of these people spent their whole lives on these boats and have never set foot ashore their entire lives. Apologies for the blur in some of these as they were taken with a manual 35mm camera prior to the advent of auto focus and image stabilization.
